Ghost Story Games is a studio founded from the restructuring of Irrational Games. Ghost Story Games’ write-up then notes, “we haven’t announced any details yet because we are still in later stages of production.” An estimation as to when development might wrap up presently remains unknown. In the time since GameSpot first spotted this job post, however, the description has been changed to say that the game is merely “still in production” rather than annotating that it is in late stages. This one is actually going to be an all-new BioShock game, which was confirmed last year as being in production. [1] It was founded by 12 of the former Irrational members with Levine still as president and creative director. Details about what the team is working on remain scarce, but we know the project is an immersive sim. The studio is the rebranding of Irrational Games as announced in February 2017, and while still the same business subsidiary under Take-Two Interactive, the rebranding was considered a fresh start by the founders as they move into more emergent narrative-driven titles compared to the larger titles they had made under Irrational.
