I found this film to be an accurate portrayal of how those who are willing to "tell the story" are often thrust into the most haunting and often deadly situations for the benefit of a world public that wants "the shots", want to see what is happening - even make judgments of their own. Then, this is an entertaining and pretty factual account of the era and the problems that confronted journalists trying to get the story out into the public domain; not only against the interests of their own minority ruling Government but also, with fatal or life-changing injuries to themselves. Unfortunately, Silver's movie doesn't cut deep enough: It glosses over some thorny questions and hammers too fixedly on others.
